Happy 1st Birthday, Luca!! We can hardly believe a whole year has already gone by. Luca's 25 lbs now and 32 inches (off the charts in height!). He's walking, running and climbing and is very expressive but doesn't have any distinguishable words yet. Although, just ask him if he wants a banana and there is no doubt he understands and is showing his excitement! Bananas are his favorite food (a Grandpa Bennett tradition) so his birthday cake was chocolate with banana filling. We celebrated on his actual birthday (with meatloaf, my last meal before going into labor and plain chocolate cake) and then the following Saturday when more family and friends could join us!
